Possible Causes
Failed low-voltage power supply on main PCB, Blown PCB fuse, Shorted component on control board, Loose neutral or live connection to PCB
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect mains power before accessing the control board.
- Check internal fuses: Some Ariston ovens have small fuses on the control board. Remove the top or front cover, locate the PCB, and inspect fuses for continuity. Replace only with identical ratings if blown, and investigate why it failed.
- Inspect connectors: Ensure all mains connectors to the PCB are fully seated and not burnt. Tighten or replace any loose or damaged connectors.
- Measure low-voltage outputs: With power restored and extreme caution, measure the low-voltage outputs (e.g., 5 V, 12 V) from the power supply section of the PCB. If missing or unstable, the board is defective.
- Replace control board: If the low-voltage supply is faulty, replace the entire main control board with a genuine Ariston part. Transfer all connectors carefully, matching positions and colors.
- Final test: After reassembly, set the clock and select a cooking mode to confirm that relays click and heating starts.
