Possible Causes
Corrupted control board memory, Incorrect configuration after board replacement, Voltage spike damage to EEPROM, Faulty main control board
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off power at the breaker before handling the control board.
- Power reset: Leave the oven powered off for at least 5 minutes to allow capacitors to discharge. Restore power and see if the F10 code clears.
- Check model configuration: If the main control board was recently replaced, verify that the correct configuration (single vs. double oven, pyrolytic vs. non-pyrolytic) has been programmed according to the Asko service instructions. Incorrect configuration can trigger F10.
- Inspect control board: Remove the control panel and visually inspect the main board for burn marks or damaged components. If present, replace the board.
- Surge protection: If the error followed a power surge, consider installing a surge protector for the appliance circuit after replacing the board.
- Board replacement: If F10 persists after reset and configuration checks, replace the main control board with the exact Asko part number specified for your model.
