Possible Causes
Blocked cooling airflow around control board, Failed cooling fan, Dried thermal compound on power components, Faulty temperature sensor on control board
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off power at the breaker and allow the oven to cool fully.
- Inspect airflow: Remove the top panel and ensure that insulation or cabinet materials are not blocking airflow around the control board and heat sink.
- Check cooling fan: Verify that the electronics cooling fan (if separate from cavity cooling fan) runs when the oven is in use. Replace the fan if it does not operate.
- Examine control board: Look for dust buildup on heat sinks and components. Carefully clean with compressed air. If a temperature sensor is mounted on the heat sink, ensure it is firmly attached.
- Persistent faults: If F60 recurs despite good airflow and fan operation, the control board's temperature sensing or power components may be defective. Replace the main control board.
