Possible Causes
Tripped thermal cutoff or high-limit thermostat, Open bake and grill elements, Faulty main control board power relays, Broken neutral or live connection at terminal block
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off power at the breaker. Verify the oven is completely cool before removing panels.
- Check power supply: Confirm correct voltage at the wall outlet or junction box. A missing leg or neutral can cause no heat while lights still work.
- Inspect terminal block: Remove the rear cover and check the terminal block for burned or loose connections. Tighten screws and replace the block if damaged.
- Test safety thermostats: Locate high-limit thermostats on the top or rear of the cavity. Test for continuity; reset if they are manual-reset types. Replace any open thermostats.
- Measure element resistance: Test both bake and grill elements for continuity. Replace any open elements.
- Control board relays: If power, thermostats, and elements are good, the main control board may not be sending power to the elements. Replace the board if relay failure is confirmed.
