Oven light does not work, but heating and other functions are normal.

Possible Causes
Burned-out oven bulb, Faulty lamp holder, Broken lamp glass from heat or impact, Open lamp wiring or switch on control board
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off power at the breaker and allow the oven to cool. Use only oven-rated bulbs.
- Replace bulb: Remove the glass lamp cover inside the cavity (usually twists off). Unscrew the old bulb and install a new, high-temperature oven bulb of the correct wattage and base type.
- Inspect lamp holder: Check for heat damage or corrosion in the socket. If the new bulb does not light and the socket appears damaged, replace the lamp holder assembly.
- Check wiring: If the bulb and holder are good, inspect the wiring from the lamp to the control board. Repair any breaks.
- Control output: Some Asko ovens control the lamp via a relay or triac. If there is no voltage at the lamp when it should be on, the control board may be faulty.
