Possible Causes
Failed cooling fan motor, Obstructed fan blades, Faulty fan relay on EOC, Open fan wiring harness
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect power at the breaker. Fan circuits are line‑voltage.
- Listen for fan operation: During a bake or after shutdown, the cooling fan should run. If it is silent, suspect the fan circuit.
- Access fan: Remove the rear panel to access the cooling or convection fan assembly.
- Inspect blades: Check for debris, insulation, or wiring obstructing the fan blades. Clear any obstructions.
- Test motor: Disconnect the fan motor and test for continuity across its terminals. Replace if open or seized.
- Check voltage: With care and proper precautions, restore power and check for voltage at the fan motor terminals when the fan should be running. If no voltage is present, the fan relay or EOC may be faulty; replace the electronic oven control (EOC).
