Possible Causes
Internal EOC logic error, Power surge damage, Corrupted control firmware, Shorted keypad input line
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off power at the breaker before touching the control area.
- Power cycle: Turn the breaker off for 10 minutes to fully discharge the control. Restore power and observe if F0 returns.
- Check supply voltage: Verify that the oven is receiving correct voltage (typically 240V for electric models) and that the neutral is solid. Fluctuations can trigger control faults.
- Inspect control board: Remove the rear control cover and inspect the EOC for burnt components or corrosion.
- Keypad isolation: Disconnect the keypad ribbon from the EOC and restore power. If F0 disappears with the keypad disconnected, the keypad is likely faulty. If F0 persists, the EOC is defective.
- Replace faulty part: Replace the touchpad/control panel assembly if it is the source; otherwise replace the electronic oven control (EOC).
