Oven light does not turn on when the door is opened or when the light button is pressed.

Safety first: Turn off power at the breaker before replacing the bulb or socket.

• Replace bulb: Remove the light cover inside the oven (usually by turning counterclockwise) and replace the bulb with the correct high‑temperature oven bulb.
• Test door switch: Check if the light comes on when pressing the door switch manually. Test the switch for continuity; replace if faulty.
• Inspect socket: If a new bulb does not work, inspect the socket for corrosion or heat damage. Replace the oven light socket if needed.
• Control issue: If the socket and switch are good, the EOC light relay may be defective; replace the electronic oven control (EOC).
