• Inspect door seal: Check the door gasket and hinges for damage or misalignment that could affect temperature sensing.
• Test sensor: Measure the oven temperature sensor resistance at room temperature and at a known temperature. Replace if readings are incorrect.
• Control calibration: Reduce the oven temperature setting using the calibration feature if the oven is consistently off by a small amount.
• Replace EOC: If the sensor is good but the oven continues to overheat, the bake relay may be stuck. Replace the electronic oven control (EOC).
