Possible Causes
Damaged touch sensor area on glass, Faulty keypad PCB, Loose or cracked flex cable, Liquid ingress under touch panel
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Disconnect the oven from mains. Glass edges can be sharp; handle the panel carefully.
- Clean the panel: Wipe the touch glass with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use excessive liquid cleaners that can seep into the edges.
- Dry out moisture: If the error appeared after a spill or steam, leave the door open and allow the control area to dry for several hours.
- Inspect flex cable: Remove the control panel and inspect the flat cable between the touch PCB and main board. Look for cracks or delamination. Reseat both ends.
- Test keys: With the panel connected and power restored, test each key. If a specific area remains dead, the touch keypad PCB or glass is likely faulty and should be replaced as a unit.
- Avoid pressure: Do not press the glass excessively; this can damage the sensor layers.
