Oven door does not close properly, heat escapes, and front panel gets very hot

Safety: Allow the oven to cool before working on the door. Glass panels are fragile.

• Inspect seal: Check the door gasket around the cavity for tears, gaps, or hardening. Replace if not sealing evenly.
• Check hinges: Open the door and inspect the hinges for play or bending. Tighten hinge mounting screws on the door and cabinet.
• Hinge replacement: If the door sags or does not close flush, replace both hinges as a pair with Balay-specific parts.
• Door adjustment: Some hinges have adjustment slots; loosen screws slightly, adjust the door position, and retighten.
