How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Disconnect mains before inspecting the control board.
- Allow cooling: Note that the cooling fan may run for some time after cooking; this is normal. If it runs indefinitely when the oven is cold, there is a fault.
- Sensor check: Test the temperature sensor resistance at room temperature. If it reads as very hot (low resistance), the control may keep the fan on; replace the sensor.
- Relay inspection: On the control board, locate the fan relay. If contacts are welded closed, the fan will run constantly. Replace the control board or have the relay replaced by a professional.
- Wiring verification: Ensure the fan is not wired directly to mains due to previous incorrect repair.
