Possible Causes
Door not locking properly, Cavity temperature sensor out of range, Pyrolytic safety thermostat open, Control not detecting closed door
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Pyrolytic cycles reach very high temperatures. Do not bypass safety devices.
- Door check: Ensure the door closes fully and the door lock engages. Clean any debris from the door frame.
- Safety thermostat: Access the top of the oven and locate the pyrolytic safety thermostat. Test for continuity; replace if open.
- Sensor test: Verify the temperature sensor is within specification; an incorrect reading can prevent pyro start.
- Control settings: Confirm that the clock is set and no error codes are present. Some models require specific conditions (e.g. door locked, no active timer) before pyro can start.
