Possible Causes

Open fan (ring) heating element around convection fan, Loose or burnt wiring to ring element, Faulty fan‑heat relay on control board, Overheated connector at fan element

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Disconnect the oven from mains before working on the rear panel or internal components.

  • Access fan element: Remove the rear inner panel inside the oven cavity (around the convection fan) to expose the circular ring element.
  • Visual check: Inspect the ring element for cracks, bulges, or burn spots.
  • Continuity test: From the rear of the oven, access the terminals of the ring element. Disconnect the wires and measure resistance; typical values are 20–40 Ω. Infinite resistance indicates a failed element.
  • Check wiring and connectors: Inspect the wiring from the ring element to the control board. Replace any heat‑damaged connectors and ensure all spades are tight.
  • Control board output: If the element and wiring are OK, the control board relay for fan heat may be defective. Replace the main control board if it does not supply power to the element when fan mode is selected.
