How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect mains power before removing the front glass or control panel.
- Clean and dry: Wipe the front glass panel with a dry cloth. If moisture has entered, remove the control panel and gently dry the area with a hairdryer on low heat.
- Check ribbon cable: Inspect the flat cable from the touch panel to the control board. Ensure it is fully inserted and not creased or torn.
- Inspect for cracks: Look for cracks in the glass or touch foil. If damaged, the entire touch panel assembly must be replaced.
- Replacement: Replace the touch control panel (glass + sensor foil) with the correct Bauknecht spare. Handle glass carefully and avoid overtightening mounting screws.
