How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect power and allow the oven to cool.
- Access fan: Remove the rear inner panel of the oven cavity to access the convection fan and blades.
- Check for obstruction: Remove any food debris or foil pieces caught in the fan.
- Spin test: Rotate the fan by hand. If stiff or noisy, the motor is likely failing and should be replaced.
- Motor resistance: From the rear of the oven, access the fan motor terminals and measure resistance. An open circuit indicates a failed motor.
- Replace motor: Remove the fan blade retaining nut, pull off the blade, and unbolt the motor from the rear. Fit the new Bauknecht convection fan motor and reassemble.
