Safety first: Allow the oven to cool completely before touching the seal.

• Inspect gasket: Check the entire perimeter of the door seal for tears, gaps, or flattened sections.
• Check attachment points: Many Bauknecht gaskets are held by hooks or clips in the cavity. Ensure all are engaged and not broken.
• Replace gasket: Pull out the old gasket starting at a corner. Fit the new Bauknecht door gasket by pressing each hook or bead into its slot around the cavity.
• Door alignment: After replacement, check that the door closes evenly. Adjust hinges if necessary.
