Possible Causes
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Isolate the oven from mains power before inspection. Surfaces may be extremely hot; allow full cooling.
Inspection and test:
- Access the rear of the oven and locate the temperature sensor as described for E01.
- Disconnect the sensor and measure resistance at room temperature. A very low resistance (near 0 Ω) indicates a shorted sensor.
- Check the sensor cable for melted insulation or points where it may touch the metal chassis or heating elements.
- Ensure the sensor probe is correctly positioned and not bent into direct contact with the grill or fan element.
- Replace the sensor if readings are out of specification or if there is visible damage.
- If the sensor and wiring are good but E02 persists, the main control board’s sensor input circuit may be faulty and require replacement.
Warning: Overheating can damage insulation and wiring. If you see burnt wiring or insulation, stop and contact a professional.
