Possible Causes

Open-circuit fan (ring) heating element, Burnt terminals on fan element, Wiring harness damage to fan element, Faulty fan element relay on PCB

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Disconnect power at the mains. Allow the oven to cool fully.

Check the fan element:

  • Remove the rear panel inside the oven cavity to expose the circular fan element around the fan motor.
  • Visually inspect the element for cracks, hot spots, or breaks.
  • Disconnect the element terminals and measure resistance with a multimeter. A typical reading is 20–40 Ω; OL indicates failure.
  • Inspect the wiring and connectors for signs of overheating or looseness.
  • Replace the fan element if it is open or damaged, ensuring correct routing of wires away from moving fan blades.
  • If the element and wiring are good, the control board relay or triac controlling the fan element may be defective and require replacement.

Warning: Do not bend or sharply twist the new element during installation; this can cause premature failure.
