Possible Causes
Blown oven lamp bulb, Faulty lamp holder / glass cover damage, Open-circuit wiring to lamp, Failed lamp relay or triac on PCB
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Switch off power at the mains before changing the lamp. Glass components may be fragile and hot.
Replace the lamp:
- Remove the glass lamp cover inside the oven (usually twists off counter-clockwise).
- Unscrew the old bulb and inspect the filament; replace with a high-temperature oven-rated bulb of the same type and wattage.
- Inspect the lamp holder for burning or corrosion; replace if damaged.
- If the new bulb does not light, check wiring continuity from the lamp holder back to the PCB.
- If wiring is intact, the lamp control on the PCB may be faulty and the board may need replacement.
Warning: Only use bulbs specifically rated for oven use; standard bulbs will fail quickly and may shatter.
