Steps:

• Locate the door switch on the oven frame; press it manually to see if the light goes off (with power restored briefly for test).
• If the light does not respond, disconnect power and remove the switch from the frame.
• Test the switch with a multimeter; replace if it shows continuity when released.
• Check that the door closes fully and correctly engages the switch plunger.
• Inspect wiring for shorts that could bypass the switch.
