Possible Causes

Failed relay on main PCB, Burnt PCB tracks, Shorted auxiliary component (lamp, fan, etc.), Loose harness connector

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety: Disconnect mains power before removing the rear or top covers.

  • Identify affected function: Determine whether the issue is with the oven lamp, cooling fan, cavity fan, or another auxiliary function.
  • Check the component first: For example, test the oven lamp by removing the glass cover and bulb; inspect filament or test with a multimeter. For fans, test for seized bearings or open windings.
  • Inspect PCB: Remove the control board and look for burnt relays or tracks associated with the faulty function. A darkened or cracked relay usually indicates failure.
  • Check connectors: Ensure the harness from the PCB to the auxiliary component is firmly connected and not heat-damaged.
  • Replace faulty parts: Replace the failed auxiliary component (lamp, fan, etc.). If the relay or PCB is damaged, replace the entire control board with a Belling-approved part.
