Possible Causes

Damaged food probe, Broken probe socket, Faulty probe detection circuit on PCB, Contaminated probe connector

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety: Disconnect power before inspecting probe sockets or internal wiring.

  • Check probe cable: Inspect the meat probe for cuts, kinks, or exposed wires. Replace if damaged.
  • Inspect probe plug and socket: Look for bent pins, corrosion, or food residue in the socket. Clean gently and dry thoroughly.
  • Test with new probe: If available, try a known-good Belling-compatible probe. If the error clears, the original probe is faulty.
  • Check internal wiring: From inside the control panel, ensure the probe socket wiring to the PCB is intact and firmly connected.
  • PCB fault: If errors persist with a good probe and wiring, the probe detection circuit on the PCB may be defective and require board replacement.
