How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect power before removing the control panel. Beware of sharp metal edges.
- Inspect for heat damage: Remove the control panel and look for discoloration or warped plastic behind the display. Address any cooling issues if present.
- Reseat connectors: Disconnect and reconnect the ribbon cable and connectors to the display board.
- Check solder joints: Under magnification, look for cracked solder joints on the display pins. Reflowing solder is an advanced repair; otherwise, replace the display/UI board.
- Replace display module: Install a new Bertazzoni-compatible display or UI board if the display remains dim or incomplete.
