How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect power before removing the control panel. Glass edges can be sharp; wear cut-resistant gloves.
- Check for lock mode: Ensure the oven is not in child lock or control lock mode per the user manual.
- Inspect for moisture: If steam or liquid has entered around the knobs or display, allow the panel to dry completely (24 hours with power off). Do not use the oven until dry.
- Access the control panel: Remove the front trim screws and gently pull the panel forward. Inspect the ribbon cable and connectors between the touch panel and main board; reseat them firmly.
- Look for corrosion or burns: If the UI board shows corrosion or burnt components, replacement is required.
- Replace the touch panel or UI board: Transfer any mounting hardware to the new part and reconnect all cables exactly as original.
