Possible Causes
Burned-out oven lamp, Faulty lamp holder, Broken door switch, Failed lamp relay on control board
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect power before replacing the lamp. Glass covers can be hot and fragile.
- Replace the bulb: Unscrew the glass lens inside the oven (usually by turning counterclockwise). Replace the bulb with a Bertazzoni-approved high-temperature oven lamp of the same wattage and base type.
- Inspect lamp holder: Check for heat damage or corrosion on the contacts. If the new bulb does not light and the holder is damaged, replace the lamp holder assembly.
- Check door switch: Some models only power the light when the door is open or when the light button is pressed. Test the door switch for continuity when pressed.
- Control board relay: If the bulb and holder are good but no voltage is present at the lamp terminals when the light should be on, the control board relay may be faulty and require replacement.
