Steam-assisted or moisture function (if equipped) fails; error indicates steam generator fault.

Safety first: Disconnect power and allow the oven to cool before working near the steam system. Hot steam can cause severe burns.

• Check water tank: Ensure the tank is filled with clean water and properly seated in its compartment. Clean any scale or debris from the tank contacts.
• Clean steam outlets: Inspect the steam nozzle or outlets inside the cavity for mineral buildup. Descale according to the Bertazzoni manual using approved descaling agents.
• Test steam heater: Access the steam generator (usually behind or below the cavity). Measure resistance of the heater element; an open circuit indicates it must be replaced.
• Inspect level sensor: If the system falsely reports empty, clean the level sensor probes or float and check wiring to the control board.
