Oven trips the circuit breaker as soon as a heating mode is selected.

Safety first: Leave the breaker off until the fault is found. Do not repeatedly reset a tripping breaker.

• Inspect heating elements: Look for visible damage where the element enters the cavity wall. A blister or burn mark can indicate a short to chassis; replace the element.
• Check wiring harness: Remove rear and side panels to inspect wires to the elements and fans. Repair or replace any melted or pinched wires using high-temperature wire.
• Test insulation resistance (advanced): Use a megohmmeter between each element terminal and chassis ground. Low resistance indicates a leakage or short; replace the faulty component.
• Dry moisture: If water or cleaning solution has entered the control area, allow it to dry completely before retesting. Persistent tripping after drying suggests component damage.
