Oven will not heat; display shows E01 shortly after a heating cycle is started.

Safety first: Disconnect the oven from mains power by switching off the circuit breaker or unplugging it. Verify no power is present before removing any panels.

• Power reset: Turn off power for 5–10 minutes, then restore power and try a short bake cycle. If E01 returns, continue.
• Access the temperature sensor: Open the oven door and locate the temperature sensor probe at the rear wall (usually top-left or top-center). Remove the mounting screws and gently pull the sensor into the cavity to access the connector.
• Check connections: Inspect the sensor plug and wiring for burns, loose pins, or broken insulation. Reseat the connector firmly.
• Test the sensor: With the oven still disconnected from power, use a multimeter set to resistance (ohms). A typical Blomberg NTC sensor should read roughly 1000–1200 Ω at room temperature (check your model’s service data). If it reads open (OL) or near 0 Ω, the sensor is defective.
• Inspect harness to PCB: If the sensor tests good, trace the harness from the sensor to the main control board behind the control panel. Look for pinched, cut, or burned wires and repair or replace as needed.
• Replace parts as needed: If wiring is intact and the sensor is out of spec, replace the oven temperature sensor (NTC probe). If the sensor and wiring are good but E01 persists, the main control board is likely faulty and should be replaced by a qualified technician.
