Possible Causes
Blown oven lamp, shorted lamp holder, damaged lamp wiring, failed lamp driver on control board
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Switch off power before changing the lamp or accessing internal wiring.
- Replace lamp first: Remove the glass lamp cover inside the oven (usually unscrews or unclips). Replace the bulb with the correct high-temperature oven lamp specified for your Blomberg model.
- Inspect lamp holder: Check the lamp socket for signs of arcing, burning, or looseness. Replace the lamp holder if damaged.
- Check wiring: If the new lamp does not work, inspect the wiring from the lamp holder to the control board for breaks or loose connectors.
- Control board driver: If wiring and lamp are good, the lamp driver circuit on the PCB may have failed. Replace the main control board if necessary.
