Possible Causes
Firmware glitch in lock function, stuck lock button on touch panel, faulty user interface board, communication error with main PCB
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Although this is a control issue, always disconnect power before removing panels.
- Attempt manual unlock: Follow the user manual procedure (often holding a specific key combination for several seconds) to toggle the child lock. Try multiple times.
- Power cycle: Turn off power at the breaker for 10–15 minutes, then restore and attempt to unlock again.
- Inspect touch panel: If the lock button area is unresponsive, remove the control panel and inspect the touch board for damage or moisture.
- Check ribbon cable: Reseat the ribbon cable between the touch panel and main PCB.
- Replace UI board: If the lock function remains stuck, replace the touch control panel / user interface board. If that does not resolve it, the main control board may also be defective.
