Possible Causes
Blown thermal cut-out, open main bake element, failed double-pole oven thermostat (on some analog models), loose connection at mains terminal block
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect the oven from mains power before removing any covers. High voltage is present on heating circuits.
- Confirm symptoms: Test multiple modes (bake, grill, fan). If none heat, suspect a common supply issue.
- Inspect terminal block: Remove the rear cover and check the mains terminal block for burned or loose connections. Tighten or replace as needed.
- Check thermal cut-out: Locate the safety thermostat/TCO on the top or rear of the cavity. Test for continuity; replace if open.
- Test elements: Measure resistance of the main bake element and grill element. Replace any that are open-circuit.
- Thermostat (analog models): If your Blomberg oven uses a mechanical thermostat, test for continuity when turned on. Replace the oven thermostat if it does not close.
