Oven interior light stays on all the time and does not turn off when the door is closed.

Safety first: Disconnect power before accessing the door switch or control board.

• Check door switch: Locate the door switch plunger (usually near the door frame). Press it manually and listen for a click. If it feels loose or does not click, replace the door switch.
• Test switch electrically: Use a multimeter to verify that the switch opens and closes correctly when pressed.
• Inspect door alignment: Ensure the door is correctly aligned and fully depressing the switch when closed.
• Control board: If the switch is good, the lamp relay on the PCB may be stuck closed. Replace the main control board if necessary.
