Possible Causes
Defective touch sensor glass, Moisture ingress into control panel, Loose ribbon cable between display and main board, Faulty user interface PCB
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Disconnect the oven from power.
Check the control panel:
- Inspect the front touch control panel for cracks or signs of moisture (condensation behind glass).
- Remove the front panel (usually by removing screws behind the door and at the top) to access the user interface PCB and ribbon cable.
- Reseat the ribbon cable connectors between the display board and the main control board.
- If certain keys are permanently unresponsive or always "pressed", the touch panel / UI board is likely defective and should be replaced as a unit.
- Allow any moisture to dry completely before reassembly.
