Possible Causes
Open-circuit grill safety thermostat, Tripped non-resettable thermal cut-out, Loose wiring through safety thermostat, Faulty reading on main control board
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Disconnect power and let the oven cool.
Check grill safety thermostat:
- Access the top of the oven cavity by removing the top cover.
- Locate the grill safety thermostat (small round or rectangular device with two terminals, mounted near the grill element area).
- Test for continuity across the thermostat at room temperature. If open and it is a non-resettable type, replace it.
- Inspect wiring connections to and from the thermostat for burning or looseness.
- If the thermostat is OK, the main control board may be misinterpreting the safety circuit.
