How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Disconnect the oven from mains.
Inspect selector:
- Remove the control knobs and front panel to access the function selector switch or encoder.
- Check for a cracked plastic shaft or knob that prevents full rotation.
- On mechanical switches, inspect for burned or loose terminals. Lightly clean contacts if accessible using electrical contact cleaner.
- Test continuity across the switch positions according to the wiring diagram. Replace the function selector switch if readings are inconsistent.
- On electronic encoders, replacement of the UI board is usually required if faulty.
