Possible Causes
Faulty temperature selector knob or encoder, Broken potentiometer on control panel, Loose connection between temp control and main board, Firmware error in control board
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Disconnect power.
Check temperature control:
- Remove the temperature knob and front panel to access the temperature selector (potentiometer or encoder).
- Inspect for physical damage or broken shaft.
- Test the potentiometer with a multimeter for smooth resistance change when turned. Replace if readings jump or drop out.
- Ensure the connector from the selector to the main control board is firmly seated.
- If hardware is fine, a main control board firmware or ADC fault may be present and the board may need replacement.
