Possible Causes
Partially failed heating element with high resistance, One of multiple elements not energizing, Faulty temperature sensor reading too high, Poor door seal causing heat loss
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Disconnect power before internal checks.
Steps:
- Test each heating element (top, bottom, convection) individually by selecting modes that use them and feeling for heat (without touching elements directly).
- Access the rear panel and measure resistance of each element; compare with typical values or service data. Replace any element with open circuit or significantly higher resistance than specified.
- Inspect the door gasket for gaps, tears, or compression loss. Replace if it does not seal evenly around the door.
- Check the NTC temperature sensor for correct resistance at room temperature; replace if out of range.
