Oven light works but oven will not start heating when a function is selected

Safety: For internal checks, disconnect power.

Basic checks:

• Ensure the timer is set to manual or continuous mode; on some Bomann models, the oven will not heat if the timer is at zero or in auto mode.
• Try different functions and temperatures to see if any mode works.
• Access the control panel and test the function selector switch and temperature selector for continuity in various positions.
• Repair or replace any faulty selector or wiring.
