Oven makes a high-pitched whine or humming noise when heating, even with fan off

Possible Causes

Loose mounting of heating elements, Vibrating metal shields, Loose transformer or choke on control board, Mains frequency hum through components

Safety: Disconnect power before tightening components.

Steps:

With the oven cool, check that all heating elements and their brackets are firmly secured.
Inspect metal shields and panels around the elements for looseness; tighten screws.
On the main control board, ensure that any transformer or choke is firmly mounted.
If the noise is very loud and accompanied by other symptoms (flickering, smell), have the control board inspected by a technician.
