How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety: Disconnect power and allow oven to cool.

Check control components:

  • Test the NTC temperature sensor resistance at room temperature and at a known higher temperature (e.g., 100°C in hot water, if removable). Replace if readings are inconsistent.
  • On models with a mechanical thermostat, verify that the thermostat clicks on/off when turning the knob through its range. Replace if it does not switch.
  • If the oven continues heating even when turned off, a stuck relay on the main control board is likely; the board should be replaced.
  • Ensure that the sensor tip is not covered with heavy grease or foil that could insulate it from cavity temperature.
