Possible Causes
Stuck touch key on fascia, Damaged touch control PCB, Moisture on control panel, Faulty control panel ribbon cable
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn the oven off at the circuit breaker and allow it to sit for at least 5–10 minutes before working on the control panel.
- Power reset: Switch the breaker off for 10 minutes, then back on. Sometimes E011 is a temporary key-lock error.
- Check for stuck keys: Gently press each touch key on the Bosch control fascia. If any button feels stuck or does not click, clean around it with a soft cloth slightly dampened with mild detergent. Do not spray cleaner directly on the panel.
- Dry moisture: If the panel was recently cleaned or there was steam, leave the door open and allow the control area to dry for several hours. A hair dryer on a low, cool setting can be used at a distance (do not overheat plastic).
- Inspect ribbon cable: With power OFF, remove the top trim and gently pull the oven forward if built-in. Remove the control panel screws, tilt the panel forward, and check the flat ribbon cable from the touch panel to the main control board for corrosion, kinks, or loose seating. Reseat the connector fully.
- When to replace: If E011 returns immediately after reset and no keys are physically stuck, the touch control PCB or complete control panel assembly is likely defective and should be replaced.
