Bosch oven shows E512 and may not start or may shut off mid-cycle

• Access boards: Remove the oven from the cabinet and take off the top cover. Identify the main control board and any secondary power or relay boards.
• Check harnesses: Locate the low-voltage communication cables between boards. Disconnect and reconnect each connector, ensuring a firm fit. Look for corrosion or bent pins.
• Inspect for damage: Examine both boards for burn marks, cracked components, or signs of moisture. Any damaged board should be replaced.
• Surge protection: If the error followed a power outage or surge, consider using a surge protector on the oven circuit (if allowed by local code) after repair.
