Interior light does not work, oven otherwise functions normally

Possible Causes
Blown oven lamp bulb, Faulty lamp holder / socket, Broken door switch (if lamp is door‑activated), Faulty lamp relay or triac on control board
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Switch off power before changing the bulb or touching the lamp cover. Glass may be hot.
- Replace bulb: Remove the glass lamp cover inside the cavity (usually twists off). Replace the bulb with a high‑temperature oven bulb of the same wattage and base type (e.g. E14 25W). Do not use standard household bulbs.
- Inspect lamp holder: If a new bulb does not work, check the lamp holder for corrosion, heat damage, or loose contacts. Replace the lamp holder if burnt or loose.
- Check door switch: On some Brandt models, the lamp is controlled by a door switch. Test the switch for continuity when the door is opened/closed. Replace if faulty.
- Control board output: If the lamp is controlled via the display and does not respond, the lamp driver on the PCB may be defective. Replace the control board if no voltage is supplied to the lamp when commanded on.
