Possible Causes
Broken NTC sensor, Disconnected sensor plug, Cut or burnt sensor wiring, Corroded connector at control board
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect mains power before accessing the sensor or control board.
- Access sensor: Remove the screw(s) holding the temperature probe inside the cavity. Gently pull the sensor into the rear service area.
- Test sensor: Disconnect the sensor and measure resistance at room temperature. An infinite reading indicates an open circuit. Replace the sensor with a Brandt‑compatible NTC probe.
- Inspect wiring and connectors: Check the harness from the sensor to the PCB for breaks, burns, or loose plugs. Reseat connectors and repair any damaged wires.
- Clear error: After replacement, restore power and test the oven. The error should clear automatically; if not, a control board fault is possible.
