Possible Causes
Failed touch control glass panel, Damaged keypad membrane, Loose or damaged ribbon cable to UI board, Liquid ingress into control fascia
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Isolate the oven from mains before removing the control fascia.
- Check for lock mode: Ensure the oven is not in child lock or key lock mode (refer to the user manual). Unlock if applicable.
- Inspect fascia for damage: Look for cracks in the glass, signs of impact, or moisture behind the panel. If liquid has entered, allow it to dry completely and consider replacing the UI panel.
- Reseat ribbon cables: Remove the control panel and carefully disconnect and reconnect the ribbon cables between the touch panel and the main PCB. Ensure they are fully inserted and not kinked.
- Test button response: After reassembly, restore power and test each button or touch area. If certain zones remain dead, the touch panel or keypad membrane is likely faulty and should be replaced.
- Replace UI assembly: Order the correct Bush control fascia or touch panel assembly. Transfer any brackets and refit. Verify full operation.
