Possible Causes
Failed fan oven element (ring element), Faulty convection fan motor, Loose wiring to fan element, Selector switch contact failure for fan mode
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect power and allow the oven to cool before removing the rear panel inside the cavity.
- Inspect the fan element: Remove the internal rear cover inside the oven to expose the circular fan element. Look for cracks or burn marks.
- Test the fan element: Disconnect the element terminals and measure resistance. An open circuit indicates a failed element that must be replaced.
- Check the fan motor: Spin the fan blades by hand; they should move freely. If stiff or noisy, the motor may be failing. Test motor resistance and replace if open or shorted.
- Inspect wiring and selector switch: Check for loose or burnt connectors at the element, motor, and selector switch. Repair or replace as needed.
- Reassemble and test: After replacing faulty parts, restore power and test fan-assisted mode. If E11 persists, the control PCB fan circuit may be defective.
