Possible Causes

Stuck control button, Damaged keypad membrane, Liquid spill causing short on keypad, Faulty user interface PCB

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Disconnect power before removing the control fascia.

  • Check for stuck buttons: Press each button firmly and release, feeling for proper movement. If any button feels jammed, clean around it and free it if possible.
  • Dry out spills: If a spill occurred, leave the oven powered off and the control panel open to dry for at least 24 hours. Do not use heat guns directly on plastic parts.
  • Inspect keypad membrane: On models with a flexible keypad, look for splits or bubbling. Replace the membrane or entire fascia if damaged.
  • Replace UI PCB: If E15 persists and buttons test mechanically fine, the UI PCB may be shorted and should be replaced.
