• Verify door lock: Start a self-clean cycle and listen for the lock motor. Confirm the door lock icon appears and the door cannot be opened.
• Check door seal: Inspect the door gasket for damage that could allow excessive heat to escape and trip safety thermostats.
• Inspect thermostats: Locate high-limit thermostats on the oven top or rear. Test for proper continuity when cool. Replace if they open prematurely.
• Lock motor: If the lock does not fully engage, replace the door lock motor and latch assembly.
