Caple oven interior light does not work, but all heating functions operate normally.

Safety first: Switch off power at the isolator. The lamp cover and bulb may still be hot; allow to cool.

• Replace bulb: Unscrew the glass lamp cover inside the cavity. Remove the bulb (usually an E14 high-temperature oven bulb) and inspect the filament. Replace with a like-for-like high-temperature bulb.
• Check lamp holder: If the new bulb does not light, inspect the lamp holder for heat damage or corrosion. Replace the holder if contacts are burnt or loose.
• Inspect wiring: From the rear, trace the lamp wiring back to the PCB. Repair any burnt or broken wires.
• Control issue: If the lamp still fails and wiring is intact, the PCB output controlling the lamp may be faulty and require replacement.
